Whats good guys I got a quick couple of questions here for my closet set up. I'll post a few pics at the end too. Pretty much I got a 3x4x8 space to use and currently have 12/13 seedlings that fully popped and are looking nice. Right now I'm 5 days into vegging running 4 2ft hydrofarm t5 bulbs total of 8k lumens. I'm wondering what would be an adequate ventilation system for the setup and how soon I need to get that ventilation system going they seem to being doing just fine as of now but I'm sure the proper ventilation is going to be necessary soon so I want to get it all set up as soon as possible. Any input would be great but honestly not to be a douche but know what your talking about I've been reading a lot of the forums here (learned of the site from using shroomery for shroomcult) and a lot of people just post to post and I'm all for talking with new people but honestly spending money to get into this isn't something I want to loose by taking bad advice, with that being said thanks alot guys look forward to hearing back!
5 days old
5mil poly with easy entry using tarp zipper easy to cut ventilation holes in
oh just thought I would add too that the front row is a strain called Skywalker the middle is OG Kush and the Back is called Grape Mammoth (4th gen g13 x grape ape x purple kush x wolly mammoth) (the sw and gm were bread by a local grower)
Well when it comes to ventilation, I recommend changing the air at a rate of at least 2 times a minute, tho imo more is better.
Your room is 3x4x8 which is 96 cubic feet, so you'll need a fan at least 192 cfm or greater for exhaust. You may also want to consider a carbon filter to keep smell down if that's an issue you want to hide.
If your grow is in a house and not a condo or apartment you can do what my friend did. If its a walk in closet with a light you can pop the light out, and use the hole there to run a duct right into your attic for ventilation without cutting any holes.
what should i use to accomplish that tho? I'm going to run a 1000 hps during flowering and i'll throw a 6in blower on that for exhaust but i'm trying to figure out what to do for an intake
yeah theres no light in the closet tho im just thinking cut 6in ducting into the top and botom corners of the poly maybe duct booster for the inline then 6in blower for the exhaust? come flowering time i'll get a carbon scrubber too deal with the smell

You've got a great plan here. Tho you may not need the booster fan on the intake. A lot of us growers use a passive air flow, allowing the exhaust to remove the air from the room this will also bring air into the room from the intake vent. Depending on temps and duct work length, the booster fan may be needed to help, but only testing will reveal this.
