 Aero or Hydro

So I can't upload my digital drawings but this is what my aero unit would be. It would be five 9ft long 6in pvc pipes laid side by side. A 3in hole will be drilled every 6ins and a pot/neoprene plug will be put in. Inside the 6in pvc pipe will be a 1in pvc pipe with a 360degree spray head under every pot. The 1in pipe will be the feeder from the pump and the 6in pipe will drain back to the res. I will have a 600w digital HPS for every 3ft of lentgh.
The hydro would just be a flood table, 9ft long, 2.5ft wide, and 7in deep. This would also have 3 600w digital HPS above it.
The main problem for me is that I need a much larger res for the table compared to the aero. Otherwise I really don't care, I have material for both.

ive had great success with aeroponics in the past, and many will argue its has substantial benefits over regular hydroponics. i would strongly recommend that you place the sprayers between the pots tho in an aeroponic system so that the roots don't grow over them and block the misters. in any case, i think u will be pleased with the results no matter what you choose.

Thanks for posting, I have grown with both and use both in my research labs. The design is a little different than you might think, the 3" hole has a 6" segment of 3in pvc in it with the pot in the top so the roots have almost a foot of space and the misters spray into the collums.

I'd say aero, only becuase its the easiest way IMO.
buckets filled with water, airstones inside, like you find in fish sections of stores, get as many air pumps as you need, make sure the stones are pumpin lots of bubbles in the water, thats key.
cut holes in the lid of the buckets, (I use painters buckets btw)
put in your grow cups, then your rockwool that should already have rooted seed, or cuttings, add hydroton, turn the pumps on, just add fert, an check ph regularly.
simple as that. lol
heres a pic of a plant just into flowering in a aero system like I mentioned...
