 Nooblet Hydro Question

Was thinking of starting out using the reservoir method. I get the setup of it, I understand how it works. I was wondering if should just sprout seeds in a paper towel and then put into a net pot filled with verm + pellets, or should I do it by some other means. (I guess i dont really get the germination to xfer to hydro system). UIsed to soil, any help will be great, peace!

You can just germ in a paper towel and place in the hydro or you can get like jiffy cubes or rockwool and sprout them in there. What I usually do is sprout in jiffy cubes, also known as peat pellets. When that first set of leaves comes out I start to lower the humidity in the humidi dome until it's at room humidity. If I see the second set of leaves coming out I put it in my hydro, otherwise I wait till they are.
