 how do i keep my plant small???

my growing space is about 3 feet tall and 3 feet wide i want to grow a small plant using fluros in this area how to i make the plant fit theses demensions and stil flower do i just grow it till its about 2 nd a half feet then switch lights to 12/12 any help is appreciated thanks!!!!!!

Just flower early and/or tie down your branches or train your plant.

Switch to 12/12 at about 8-10 inches. They will at least double in size. When I have flowered at 10 inches they are usually over 2ft tall at harvest.

hey, i posted on this yesterday but it didnt show up?.....well what i said was the earlier you flower them, the smaller your plant will be at harvest...

Create a shrinking pill and give one to the plant.....but seriously The higher intencaty light the smaller and bushier your plant will be.... but since your using floros do what these guys say and just get the floros as close as you can to the plant (they arent very hot) this will prevent streching. Also you can keep your plant small by topping it. Although most people prefer to tie it down because then technically its the same size as it would origionallly be but just in a small area. If you were growing outside but wanted your plants small would you tie down or use a screen? I've seen people use screens inside "Screen of Green". The plant grows around the screen and generally becomes wider but shorter.

I suppose it doesnt matter, but maybe the screen might block some light....not to sure about this though.

It won't block light its not a very fine screen. They would grow lower and might not reach over surrounding weeds but that depends on a few things.
It seems like people usually tie down outside though. Maybe it makes bigger plants/yields?

hmmm.......well beats me then. As for yeild with tying down it would be the same as if you didnt tie down. Only the plants will be shorter.

Light could potentially reach more bud sites with SCoG setup vs normal plant growth. The lower 1/3 of a regular grown plant usually has somewhat airier less developed buds compared to the top parts.

click the link in my signature. It is my grow. Scrog is the best way to get good results in a short room. My room is 3 feet 4 inches tall. My screen is 3feetx3feet, yours will probly be smaller, but I'm hoping to get over a pound out of it. My journal gets updated every week, if you'd like to track the progress for potential of your grow.

not expecting a pound out of the plant in the pic. Hoping for 1-3 ounces out of that. That was just my first attempt at a scrog, just practice. I have 6 clones vegging while that one flowers. And when the whole screen is filled out, hoping for a pound. 9sqft screen. 430w Son Argo.
