How to cut some metal ducting?

I'm making my own carbon filter following this tek. I've purchased everything, more or less. I still have a few pieces to get, but that doesn't matter. My question is how do I cut the 6" pipe? I got a roll of pipe that is a couple feet long (3' I'm guessing), and I need to cut it. I have a circular saw, a jigsaw, and a drill. I also have a dremel somewhere but I haven't been able to find it in over a year so I probably can't use that. I figured a dremel would work best, my second bet is on the jigsaw perhaps? I'm just concerned about fucking up the blade if it's not supposed to be cutting metal. On a jigsaw this isn't a big deal as blades are cheap, but just wanted to get some input before I attempt anything as I'm in no rush atm.

Oh, actually I just looked it up and I have a saws all. I have been calling it a jig saw this whole time. I looked that up to and that's definitely not what I have lol. Will do that, awesome. Thanks man.

Tin snips or a heavy duty pair of scissors worked for me when I built mine. I think they are a bit more precise then a sawz-all. Be safe, ducting is sharp.

yah, i was going to suggest a tin snip as well. If you use a saws all to cut your pipe, make sure to use a vise or some type of clamp to hold the ducting still. I would definitely suggest against using your hands, or legs, to hold the pipe still.
And yah, watch those edges, cut metal is fucking vicious.

Tin snips sounds like it might make a cleaner cut and they're cheap too. I'll try the saws all when I get home, but if it's giving me any difficulty I'll go and pick up some tin snips. Also, this might be a dumb question, but where do I add the carbon? I'm assuming on the outside ring between the 8" and 6" hardware cloth? I then cap the 8" end and hook up my exhaust to the 6" side correct?

No, I know where to get it from. Well, I was figuring a pet store, but I haven't gone looking for it yet. I just wasn't sure if I put the carbon in that outside ring or the inner tube. It makes the most sense to me that it'd go on the outside, but I'm not sure so I'm asking for clarification.

The carbon goes between the 6" and 8" rings. Make sure you add some batting at the intersection of the 6" pipe and 6"-8" adapter, the bottom of the outer ring where the carbon goes. No air will get to that part without already passing through some carbon so no need to waste it down there as it's pretty expensive stuff.
