Hey everybody! I'm new here as well as somewhat new to growing cannabis hydroponically as I only have one **very** successfull grow so far.
Anyways I've switched up somethings from my old set up and now have come up with this. I think it's a lot better than what I first used but I would like advise and opinions on my new set up. It is as follows.....
Air 4" exhaust fan on carbon scrubber and speed controller 5000btu ac intake 12" oscillating fan 8" fan
Reservoir for hydroponies
Reservoir 25L plastic tote
Oxygen 100gal air pump w/2x 4"x1" stones 8lpm air pump w/2x 4"x0.5" stones
Monitoring Hanna meter grochek continuous ph/tds/temp meter
Water conditioning 25L capacity water chiller on 300lph pump
Hydroponics setup
Brief paragraph on how it's set up...
A 450gph pump takes water from the reservoir to a 30 tote located in the tent. The tote is full of clay hydroton rocks and has 5 net baskets buried in the rocks. The tube from the pump connects with a 3 outlet manifold which has soaker tubes attached to each port. The quartet inch soaker tubes form concentric circles on the tote and have a valve on the end to reduce or increase soaker output. There is a 200gph pump buried under the rocks with a net pot over it to keep out rocks and roots. The water is returned to the reservoir via the pump.
So that my set up as I have it designed now. I have 5 afgan kush auto ryders in my germination closet atm and they'll be ready to go yo seedling area very soon I'm hoping so tent advise is welcomed as I have to make any changes to the tent soon as the little baby plants will be in the tent soon enough heh.
I'm not a hydroponics expert by no means lol but based on everything I have read it sounds like a solid grow room setup. Did you make the hydro setup yourself? You should make a grow journal and post pictures of your setup. I would be interested to see how it looks and also how the plants are looking at this point.
