How to reuse soil.......sry

Sorry for posting this question like this guys, but I am in the middle of harvest and don't have a lot of down time. I tried to search for the answer, but to no avail.
I know I put the old soil in a black trash bag and set it outside for awhile, but I cant remember how long. Also I am kinda wondering about setting the soil outside, introducing some fucked bugs, and then causing problems in my grow.
Before Hawk comes in and says just go buy new soil, here is why I cant.
The nearest place to get my soil is 2 and a half hours away and to be honest, I am pretty broke right now so I am having to do it this way. Soil is like 18-23 bucks a bag, wouldn't be so bad if it was CLOSER.
Also I remember I need to get most if not all the roots out of the old soil which I have already done.
Now what?
Thanks for the help guys and sorry for posting a question that I know for a fact has an answer to it buried somewhere on this board.
Peace N Love.

If you're soil has already been used it is not going to be very nutrient rich. You either need to take the time to compost it, or you need to amend it.
As far as pasteurization goes, if you are worried about bugs/bad organisms than it may be a good idea. This is the only use for pasteurization in soil.
Look into amending the soil.
Something like peat moss for aeration, guanos, kelps, alfalfa for nutrients, rock dust mix as an anchor for your mircrobes/fungal hyphae.
Obviously you can reuse it and see how it goes, but taking this route over running old soil will give you far better results. Between nutrient loss and soil becoming less fluffy after use, I'd recommend atleast amending it.

Or you just add more nutrients when you water and kind of treat it like a soilless.

Shit I wished I would have checked back sooner on this.lol Would it being outside in a black trash bag tied inside of a Rubbermaid container fuck anything up? Its been hot as fuck the past day and a half.
Is it still cool to go ahead and treat it as soilless now?

Well unless you amended it, then yeah, treat like a soilless grow.

Supposedly reusing peat heavy mixes can lead to an uncontrollable drop in PH. at least after a couple of uses. I have't actually observed this myself, but it's said in the revs TLO guide, which is full of great info besides just tLO related shit.
btw I have a link to dl the guide in .pdf if anyone wants it. It is not exactly easy to find otherwise and I had to ask someone for it. I would post it here, but I don't know If that's a violation of the forum rules or not.
