I have never used light warrior but I have used happy frog and ocean forest which are both made by the same company (Fox Farm) and really liked them. Try it out, you will probably be happy with it.

Its a soilless grow substrate. (and the word soil isn't on the bag at least not these on the foxfarm site)

Doesn't the worm castings make it a soil? I'm no expert at the soil vs. soilless debate but I thought any nutritious additive meant it was a true soil...

Check out the castings they aren't all that nutritious. They are more of a soil conditioner then anything. The nutrients they do have are available to the plants right away so you find them in a lot of organic teas but the numbers are very low.

yah, it's not a soil.  If you were to use it on it's own you would need to do a lot of hand watering with nutes each time to keep your plants happy.  IMO light warrior is best used as an additive to fluff out your soil mix and extend the life of your bag of soil.
