Soil Growers: 1. Are you growing from seed or clones? seed 2. How old are your plants? 2 1/2 weeks 3. How tall are your plants? 2 inches 4. What size containers are they planted in? 1/2 gallon 5. What is your soil mix? 1/3 vermiculite 1/3 coir 1/3 organic soil 6. How often do you water and what type of water do you use and how much you give per watering? spring water right now every day spray soil 7. What is the pH of your water? don't know 8. What kind of fertilizer do you use and what is its NPK ratio? na 9. Do you foliar feed or spray your plants with anything? na 10. What kind of lights do you use and how many watts combined? (HPS, MH, fluorescent, halogen, incandescent "plant lights") Sun light 11. How close are your lights to the plants? many light years 12. What size is your grow space in square feet? window 13. What is the temperature and humidity in your grow space? 70 to 75 in front of drafty window 14. What is the pH of the soil? Don't know 15. Have you noticed any insect activity in your grow space? Well how much water are you spraying onto the soil? You shouldn't have to do that. There is water in the soil, and the plant should be throwing out roots deeper into the container.
So my guess is that you are water logging the soil, depriving what little roots it has of air. So stop spraying the soil with water.
