Feminized seeds are good for exploring strains and figuring out what you like. If you know what you want and are trying to find that perfect pheno then start a bunch of regular seeds and weed out the males and find your mother.
If done right seeds can be feminized and should be fairly stable, but from what I'm seeing is that there are a few ways of making them fem and only one way is proper. There's still always going to be the chance, but you never know what people are doing to get feminized seed. Just the other day a friend of mine handed me some seeds his buddy grew and said "they're 90% female." I told him he could keep em.

I'm no fem expert, but colloidal silver does ring a bell. Read up on feminizing and you'll see that there are a few ways of doing it--some more stable than others. I'm not sure the exact method. I have no need to create feminized seeds so I've only done basic research.
