8 bagseed... All Herm... Whats my best bet?

So I just figured out today that the 8 seeds i started in late june... that are now 3.5-4 weeks into flowering are ALL Herms... would it be worth it to continue as i am and just hash it... or kill em, and focus on my clones that are vegging (Not cut from the bagseed plants).

I would kill them all. If you grow them out you will get invisible pollen everywhere. On your clothes, walls, floor, ceiling, everywhere. If that's not an issue then sure, why not. But I would kill em all.

Not quite sure... I'm thinking since they were all bagseeds... that all of them had Herm in the blood. so to speak.

Here is what you look for when using seeds from weed that isn't suppose to be seeded. In other words weed that isn't from Mexico or Columbia. When it's suppose to be some kind of killer weed and you find one seed in a bag or a few in a quarter pound or something like that it will usually be a female. Now when it's suppose to be killer weed and it has a bunch of seeds say over 20 in a quarter pound then most likely your dealing with future hermie problems.

I would kill the clones for sure... Are they outside or inside? Either way if they're ALL hermed I would just go for it, let them flower.
But like FB said if they're in a grow room you'll have to really get serious about sterilization, both limiting exposure to the rest of the house (think special clothes and showering), and for future grows.

Well I originally started with like 40 seeds that i had collected over a few months... although, I think the ones i ended up with are probably from the QP that i found like 50+ seeds in... :smile:

thanks for the help guys! I still have 2 clones in a seperate veg area and they've been showing random hairs since i got em, I was told They're OBAMA... ? did someone actually create a strain called obama?? or do i have 2 unknown clones...? They're Definitely from the same mother and I'm planning on using them as mothers.

Edit: Confusion = I never cut clones from these herms... I Acquired the 2 that i have elsewhere

In most cases (mostly females with a few hermies) tossing them would be best...but in this specific case, is pinching off the male branches/flowers really not worth it? I mean, rather than tossing 8 plants he wasted his time vegging, is it not possible to just cut off the male parts of the plant?

I've never had a hermie (knock on wood) so I'm not 100% sure how they grow out...but it seems to me like if he just watched them he could control it enough to get SOME bud out of it.

I've got a little bit of smoke out of it... it's just hella seedy... still drying though...tastes okay i'd rather stop wasting time and energy on bullshit herms and re focus that on my clones... which i know are fem. those were just a bunch of bagseed which is hella funny cuz i gave some friends some of the seedlings i had... and out of the 6 i gave them, 5 were fem... :facepalm3:

From what I've read... the seeds I would have produced would have a good chance of being herms... if I'm wrong, someone can give insight... thats the way i understand it.
