1) when I looked at some bulbs some say for mh ballast. Some say for digital ballast and some don't say for digital ballast. Now if I have a digital ballast that is for both mh and hps can I use any bulb? even if the bulb says for mh ballast? or does not say for digital ballast?
2) I am going to need two 400 watt mh and two 1000watt hps.. I know they are made different and put out different lumms, and different light waves some put out more useable then others .. what would be some good bulbs brand to look at that put out the most usable wave length of color?
Yes, you could use could use a standard MH bulb in your digital ballast. Digital bulbs are made to run at the higher frequencies that digital ballasts operate so they are supposed to last longer.
Lots of good bulb manufacturers. Hortilux and SolarMax are popular brands. My new favorite is Ultra Sun Lamps. Quality bulbs at an economy price:)
