Lol. Thanks for the compliments - She is quite flattered. She aspires to be one of the great "stoner girls" someday. Trying to think of a good nickname for her though... Maybe Marylin MonDope? naahhh that's no good.

Got the first user review video submitted. Looks like Ninja is a master of the hash arts.

the man said: i dont think this method gives very good hash. yes its easy but there is a whole lot of plant matter like crappy import hash, and essentially is what your doing(banging buds on a screen). he started with 10 grams of stems and leaves and seeds and it looks like he got at least 3-4 grams of hash. if someone makes full melt using only dry ice ill be a believer. for super wicked buds id say max yield of high quality full melt type is going to be 14-15% prob closer to 10%.
Very good point. We made up a 150 micron bag to see if it improved quality - It sure did! Went ahead and started producing a 150 micron bag for those looking for a little cleaner powder. What's the smallest practical screen size everyones found so far? Thanks!

Any theory as too why the traditional ice water method yields purer hash? Is the water acting as an additional filtering component?

the man said: no not acting like a filter, but its not busting up and freezing/breaking up plant matter
I see what your saying - gentler is the way to go?
I had heard that it's possible to just freeze your clippings overnight and then shake them (with no dry ice added) in the bag - sort of a twist on the classic hand sifting approach. I'd imagine that'd produce purer hash with less veg - plus no dry ice required.
I'll give it a try in the next couple days and see how it works. Anyone try this method?

So I placed some dry material in the freezer overnight and then ran it through a 150 micron bag without using any dry ice. The results?
It works! Granted it yielded less than if I had used dry ice but it was definitely a more pure material. Much less veg material in the final product. I'll try and post some pictures tonight.
Anyone else give it a try yet?
