I just got a new screen so I thought I'd post this.
1. Order screen from silkscreeningsupplies.com. They have all kinds of sizes, anything you want. They also have screens mounted to frames like for a giant shaker box but I have not tried those. This screen is a 220 micron. I usually use a 185, but I wanted to try some finer hash.
2. Cut a big square off.
3. Use a flame to quickly singe the edges so they seal and dont fray.
4. Break up and weigh dry material. Don't break it up too fine(grind). I use 2 pairs of tongs so I dont get crystals all over my hands.
5. Put material in a gallon jar. Dump one bottle of alcohol in. Shake for 45 seconds. Dont shake too long or the alcohol starts leaching chlorophyll which tastes like crap.
6. Dump jar into screen lined bowl. Carefully hold screen and try to swish around in the liquid a bit and even tumble the material a bit, only about 10 seconds.
7. This is not necessary but I use a turkey baster to squirt a bit of reserved alcohol on top of the material in an attempt to wash more crystals downward. Again, all of this should be done as quickly as possible.
8. Twirl the sides of the screen together and squeeze the material into a ball and squeeze out all the liquid you can. Now squeeze out a little more.
That's the stuff!
9. Spread out material to dry and throw into the compost. Rinse off screen and dry. Cover dish with screen to keep out dust while the alcohol evaporates. You can use a fan to speed the evaporation if you want.

Here's a pic monday. The return is small, but I think this will be some good shit. It's not quite dry yet. The hash I make with the 185 micron screen only takes 2 or 3 pinhead size balls to get high so this should be dynamite! I can't wait to try it.
Now I need to start looking into budder hash.
