ok, so i know that the water needs to have air bubbles running in a normal ebb/flow hydro setup, but this is my setup.
coir in buckets, watering by hand, scrog..
im not doing anything fancy, and just want some head smoke..
do I HAVE to bubble the water if im feeding by hand from the tap (its going through a brita filter)? im not using a res, and will be using fresh water for every feeding..
is this ok?

actually, just found the info i need.. yes.. you can.. when hand watering hydro, if the water has not been just sitting around, you can mix the water and nutrient solution, PH it, and water, with no issues.. thanks everyone!

im confused.. how is coir not hydro? you still have to do all of the same stuff as hydro: PH to the right level, constantly feed the right amount of nutes, etc etc etc.. if I water them with just water, then they would die without nutes.. im sorry.. i just thought that hydroponic and soilless grow where the same thing, since you have to treat them the same way..
cool.. thats the only thing i was missing with my setup was an air stone.. i managed to source a PH meter, so that helps a lot.. haha

To me if their is any type of medium that the roots are growing in then it's a soilless grow. If the roots are growing straight into water then your hydroponic.
I didn't mean let them get bone dry. But dry out to the point where you would need to water again.

You have to do this with every kind of grow there is soil or hydro.
