That sounds like it would be a really dry mix, especially for something that's going to be under constant high light
I use this and it works fine. The verm and peat holds water. It needs water every couple days. and you gotta watch the plants for ferts, since the mixture contains nothing as for nutes, you just go by what the plants tell you.
I see it pretty close to grwing with coco, its a soilless mix and it works very well imo.

Nope, verms used for water retention. But hell, I grow in straight perlite with no problems. Don't really need the verm if you're willing to water a little more.
you can feed when the plant has 2 sets of true leaves,its good to start with haft straight and you should pay attention to how the strain reacts ,each strain is different .and i recommend organic nuts,thats just me !with a soil-less mix your ph should be at 5.8 and soil mixes 6.5,check ph every day and you cant go wrong flushing ,or researching !
