Check out the vendors listed over on Alibaba.com. There are tons of LED manufacturers on there, most of them located in Shenzhen, China. I consulted with a whole bunch of them back in 2009 and ended up having Sino-Colour Technology Limited build a 300w panel of 288 1w LED's manufactured with my chosen ratio and orientation of six different LED's:

The total cost shipped to the US was around $500, though the panel arrived defective TWICE and it took several months before I had a working unit in hand to play with. Frankly, I don't use it anymore (though this thread is making me want to try it out again). The 300 watt panel did work, but it produced growth that was no more impressive than a 250 watt HPS I had running on the same genetics. So in so far as relative power savings versus yield is concerned, I didn't see any benefit from the LED although I will readily admit that this could have been due to less-than-ideal light spectrum or output issues with the specific LEDs used in the product I ordered.
Side by side visual comparison between a 400w HPS / 300w LED / 250w HPS:

What wavelength is considered "far-red"?
700 - 720 nm. Unfortunately, this light was not available from the ten or so companies I had consulted with at the time the unit I bought was produced.
