well summers coming and i got some decisions to make ,happen to have a small deep freezer that im not using and was thinking ,shit this would be sweet if i could use this as a air conditioner ,what i was thing is to put a small hole in the top and rig up a bathroom exhaust fan to it and put some slabs of ice in it ,do you guys think this would work ,im wondering if it would maintain a cold enough temp inside or maybe have it on a timer or something ,what cha gotta say ?? peace~

The bigger the space the less effective it would be for sure.

No harm in experimenting. You can always fill the hole in and use it to freeze stuff again

You will burn the freezer out in a week if you tried that. Your best bet would be to run a copper coil through the side of the freezer and coil it up in there. Then connect it to a radiator and a small water pump. Fill the hose and radiator with water/antifreeze mixture and aim a fan at the radiator.
...Or buy an air conditioner off craigslist for 25$.
