Well, a friend of mine is looking forward to growing, but they have to find a way to deal with the smell. My friend isn't sure if they layout of the place will be able to contain it on its own. How effective are the negative ion generators in neutralizing the smell, and how much should my friend look to spend on one? My friend is only growing for personal use and he's probably looking at 6 foot by 6 foot total floor space, although not all of that is available for plants. Hopefully there is one that will get the job done, but be under $100.
Any information on negative ion generators at all is welcome. More questions/experience/etc. etc etc., we could build some comprehensive information. Thanks for the help!
Ozone generators, eh? I'll have to look into that as well. Carbon filters probably won't work for my friend because its a small personal usage setup planned and there isn't going to be any kind of ventilation setup... just a fan and opening the door for them to get some air from the other room kinda deal...
Do you know of any good resources on ozone generator/negative ion generator information that specifically pertains to growing marijuana?
That is looking great, but my friend probably won't be able to use a ventilating system due to the way the room is. There is a vent in the room but without knowing where it goes, it is probably best to not use it to suck air out of the room. Hopefully he'll be able to investigate.
