I think all things even I would take 2x400, but the 600w would be the better buy IMO. The size and location of our rooms can always change and then we're having the same debate but 600 vs. 1000 while stuck with 400's. I guess I would take the 400's now but the 600 if I wasn't going to be in that space forever.

2x400 then, although I don't think I can change my vote now 
IMO the green lady enjoys being penetrated, but she is a downright fiend for multiple light action

I know this is off-topic, but how does he plan to access the back of such a narrow closet? 24" is barely enough room to turn around once you're in there so I imagine with 2 lamps something like SOG would be out of the question. Seems like a space suited for 6-8 trees maybe...but what are his plans if you don't mind sharing?
Just some random high thoughts, sorry to derail the thread.
