Heat problems.

So my current system consists of a 125 Watt CFL in a 1.4' x 1.4' x 4' grow tent and a 400w HPS that will go in a 2' x 4' x 5' tent. The smaller grow tent so far has really bad heat problems with the CFL, temps get up to 90+. I was going to get a 60 CFM Active Air Blower for the larger tent, if I split it off would the 60 help bring down the temps in the smaller tent? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

For the small one CFL tent you could A.) Use less lighting and/or B.) add a couple of computer fans in the mix.
No need for a big fan for that box. I'm running 2 in my ghetto setup right now larger than yours and mine runs fine with a simple vent in the side with a fan breeze running through it...I keep my apartment on like 67 degrees though.

I have no control over the temps in my house. Without the space heaters it would be entirely based on the temps outside. There is no room to put more fans in there either, I have one in there right now with another blowing on the outside of it. Would a active air blower bring the heat down? Im going to need one anyway for when I flower a few plants.

So I sat down, smoked a joint, and thought to myself how am I going to fix the problem. Then I realized heat rises.. So I pointed my fan up to the top of the tent and opened up a vent that is mainly for ducting. I am about to see how the temps are in a few minutes.

Its okay I was stoned when I was reading it.
I have another fan aiming at the vent on the lower left side where the fan inside the tent is. The temps so far have dropped down to higher 80s.
On my other tent though, I decided I am going to get a Cool Tube with a Xtrasun 400w Ballast. I'm still going to get a 60 CFM Active Air Blower and run it through the Cool Tube.
