I'm in the process of planning for my grow cab and I was wondering which of these fans you think would work best for me... Or if maybe a different option could work better...
If you need to hook up a carbon scrubber you need an vortex inline fan. Discount hydro based out of cali sells them at 99 for 4in and 119 for 6in, best price I have found so far and the company is very reliable.

do you have a separate place for mothers and clones?
with that size cab you dont need a lot of cfms
go with 2 100 cfm computer fans, one at the exhaust, and one at the intake.
this removes the negative pressure allowing the exhaust fan to work much more efficiently. hence more air will flow through.
your only using CFLs so you wont have much of a heat problem.
also, your not going to be able to put too many plants in so i wouldnt worry about smell.
focus your funds on lots of CFLs, your gonna need them for any kind of quality.
for a size a tad smaller than that cab i have designed. im useing a dozen 46w cfls.
When your doing small grows like that, you need light saturation.
anyone else?
EDIT: one more thing, the formula for CFM in a grow room is...
1 calculate volume of room (length x width x height) 2 divide by 60 (minutes in an hour) 3 mutiply by number of exchanges per hour (every 5 minutes = 12 exchanges per hour) in this case its 12
that is the minimum amount of air flow
add a scrubber? add 50% extra HID? add 10-15% per light
