Recently single as of yesterday..........
Time to kick this weightlifting hobby into overdrive. Goals: drop minimum 40 pounds and tone up
Take a look if you like : https://www.muscleandstrength.com/workouts/26-doug--s-6-day-cutting-routine.html
I'm already on a 3 day on, 1 day off (only cardio) routine. I'm not sure if I will have the time for cardio twice a day. I am currently doing 30 mins cardio daily.
Comments/Critisism appreciated from anyone. Regardless of experience

Looks pretty solid...that's a lot of lifts per workout though for sure!
Make sure your protein consumption is enough to support it...at least your body weight number in g of protein daily. Maybe more. (i.e. if you weigh 160 you need to eat 160g protein daily)

I'm working out to, I'm doing my own routine.
I plan on dropping 30 lbs. I'm 160 right now.
Being this large is so annoying to me.
I miss being a 112 lb wrestler in highschool.
Ohhhh well. Time to smoke.

I'm 5'6''
VERY little muscle mass back then. I was 140 lbs my 8th grade year and was considered over weight. I took control my 9th grade year and joined Cross Country and then Wrestling; I was around 125 entering wrestling after cross country that year. I was around 5'2''-5'4'' back then.
I was about 120lb the next year but left because I just didn't like the other wrestlers honestly.

That still seems like almost an unhealthy weight goal
im like 5' 10" and about 150 now and considered underweight and I still have some bodyfat to lose
But no matter what your goal is working out and eating right is always good, I myself am not on any sort of "workout regimine" but I lost like 80lbs in the past year from getting fucked up and not having money for proper food and I recently started trying to do pushups situps every morning and instead of eating nothing for breakfast (and often nothing for lunch and something small for dinner) im trying to cook a good breakfast or at the least eat a protien bar or something and im drinking lots of water (instead of sweet tea and cokes)

Farmer- I like the routine but I would cut out all the isolation bicep/tricep shit. No reason to do that stuff- just do more chest back shit and your arms will keep up.

Just dont get burned out. I went hard for 2-3 weeks and now Ive been taking 3-4 days off in a row. I need to get back in the gym today
No need to take in more than 60g of protein per 24 hour period, that's the most the body can digest. I would recommend starting a daily vitamin too
Treadmill on incline is the best weight management workout imo

I hear you man. I hate seeing pics of myself at 200 lbs(I'm 245 now). It's depressing...but motivating as well. None the less I still don't like it.

Yeah I hear you. I have a sweet spot for biceps though. I don't really concentrate too much on triceps....all the diff assortment of chest workouts seem to tire them out enough...I usually only do 2 tri workouts. Thanks for the feed back.

I have been on a 3 day on 1 day off routine for a month now and I love it. I just reached a point a few months ago where my torn muscle fibers were healing faster that I could work them. So I wasn't fully benefiting from isolating muscle groups only once a week. Twice a week really seems to help..and I each muscle group gets 72 hrs to rebuild.
Thanks for all the feedback fellas. I start the new routine tomorrow with legs. If anyone is interested I can update my results in this thread. See if this new routine is worth the extra effort.
Time to pass the fuck out.....did 80 miles on my sled today...ripped up the trails wicked hard guy!
Peace FJ

My moms is about 4 ft tall, and just can't keep her weight up. She eats a lot and she doesn't throw it up. She has a lot of health problems; one of them being emphysema. She used to be around 120 and about a foot taller, but she has pretty much just shrunk since I have been able to remember.
We just don't eat much, my dad doesn't make a lot of money. I paid the taxes on the house last year with grant money from school.
ideal weight chart 5' 6" 128 - 156 lbs. BTW ideal weight is there, and I was wrong about my dad apparently he is more 140 lbs. I don't know why I was wrong. I still want to get down to 130 though, that is the weight I left high school at two years ago.

No need to say sorry man, it honestly doesn't bother me much. And it was understandable you though eating disorder. The docters swear up and down that the cement kiln in town is the source of a lot of sickness in this town, and on and on nothing is done about it. Geologists have even done studies with pollution in ground water that proved that they lied on their EPA release on how much they pollute.
-edit-
I forgot to mention, this is why I hate my city government. They gave the plant 5 years tax free from the city so they wouldn't leave, and the board of education forced students to stop a project that was about collecting data about the health problems and how much they pollute and presenting it.
My town goes out of their way to keep them, I honestly hope everyone that knows about the bad shit from the kiln, and doesn't do anything in the government or that works at the plant, dies a slow, natural, painful death. Because that is what they do to people in this town by keeping it.

If only you know how many times I honestly think of that very thing. Risking my life in jail is not quite worth it to me. However I am getting involved with spreading the word of what they really do.
You would really be surprised how many people actually just don't know it this town of 11,000. I remember being a child and my mom mentioning how it pollutes so much, and my response was "that can't be true nobody would just let them do that." I used to believe people in the government actually gave a shit about everyone in the town.
This is a workout thread though.

I could leave, but my family is here.
I'm here at the community college so I don't have to leave yet. I don't want to be away if my moms health goes south.
