im looking for a 6" inline fan that doesnt sound like a jet engine. i need something quiet... i dont really know what to look for here, does anyone have any experience with any of the following inline fans? these are my only options at my hydro store:
Valueline 6" 268 CFM - $129.99
Ecoplus Supreme 6" 440 CFM - $174.99
Vortex 6" HO 449 CFM - $219.99
Eclipse 6" 630 CFM - $249.99
Edit: The grow area is 94.5 cubic feet. IDK if that makes much of a difference, any one of those fans will keep that shit well ventilated. I just need one thats quiet.

The Vortex for sure. They are practically silent, but the sound of rushing air is something else to deal with. The ecoplus fans sound like a plane taking off imo and I bet that Valueline brand is even louder.

good deal. ive heard those vortex fans are nice, especially with the 10 year warranty they come with.
i can deal with the sound of air flow, i just cant have a god damn airplane engine running in my house. i think ill go with the vortex and a speed controller in case things are too loud, then add a carbon filter when i get more money together.
then things will be much closer to the entire grow tent being fully equipt.

Elicient fans are also supposed to run as quiet, if not quieter then the vortex fan lines. Might be another brand to look into if you're willing to drop that much cash.
Also in a 94.5 CF room you can get away with using a 256 CFM fan quite easily.

well, my hydro store only has a few different kinds of inline fans in right now.
i think im going to get the Vortex 6" HO 449 CFM and a speed controller for the fan, along with the ducting, of course. if theyre quiet, have a 10 year warranty, and are well built, then im in. its only an investment to me lol. sucks that its cheaper online, but id rather just buy it locally, really. support the local economy!!
week by week, my grow is getting more professional looking its exciting!!! i cant wait to break it down and smoke the bud already lol

Yah, I'm all for this. Now that we have a hydro shop in town I hit them up before I go anywhere else.
