I was recently scrolling threw Annoms's grow journal "from seeds to mother," and i really like the scrog method he chose to use with his mothers. He seemed to have some good results this way.
I thought this would be beneficial for me. I recently popped some beans and will be using a 4x4 ho t5 setup for the mothers. I could easily fit 3 moms under it and keep the plants just as wide as the lights are...and be able to slam the lights super close since the plants will be flat squares.
I was also contemplating just rollin with lst/pruning for the mothers.
I would like to know what a fellow growerite would do.

Okay FJ I need to clarify here:
The term mothers usually refers to plants which are being kept long-term to take clones from. They aren't ever flowered, but rather kept in a constant state of vegetative growth indefinitely.
Is this what you are referring to?
Or are you talking about plants that you are going to grow out and flower for product?
For a mother, I would actually recommend topping her and then checking out the bonsai teks to keep her small and still producing weekly clones.
For actual growing, I'd say an LST method if you have quite a few plants as ScrOG takes up a good deal of space.

I'm sorry for not explaining myself more clearly.
I know what mothers are. Annom scrogged his mothers into cool lookin flat squares(literally). I would be veg'n them under 4x4 t5 setup. I thought i would be able to utilize the space best this way.
