Question about seed appearance and proper growing seasons.

The seeds I get in a bag of mids are usually brown or light greenish/beige. Which ones should I use if I want to grow my own?
Also, sometimes I get these weird crumbly black seeds. What does that mean?
Lastly, is it too late to grow outdoors in pennsylvania?

Definitely too late for an outdoor.
Brown seeds are what you're looking for, tiger striping is good too. Green or white seeds are immature and won't sprout. Crumbly and black are overdried and/or crushed.

Shit, that means I've been throwing away the good seeds for months. I've always kept the immature ones because I read the following:
"The seeds should be virile, that is, they should not be grey and shrivelled up, but green, meaty, and healthy in appearance."
It's from http://howtogrowmarijuana.com/how-to-grow-marijuana-outdoors.html
Doesn't it sound like they're telling you to keep the immature ones?

That page is shit. Don't read that anymore.
They say to plant pointy side up: but the taproot emerges from the pointy side and will then have to use additional energy to point itself back down. That's bad. Also, a cannabis plant grown outside will almost certainly not grow to be 20 feet tall! That site says to dry in a box that is 130 degrees. Wrong. It says males should be kept and smoked. Wrong. It says bees collect cannabis pollen and when they make it into honey, the honey has psychoactive properties...So fucking stupid! It says you can make a plant finish in 36 days. Wrong.
Can you turn bad weed into good weed? Surprisingly enough, the answer to this oft-asked inquiry is, yes! Like most other things in life, the amount of good you are going to do relates directly to how much effort you are going to put into it.
1. Take a quantity of grass and dampen it, place in a baggie or another socially acceptable container, and store it in a dark, dampish place for a couple of weeks (burying it also seems to work). The grass will develop a mold which tastes a bit harsh, a and burns a tiny bit funny, but does increase the potency What the fuck?!? This site is advocating that you smoke moldy buds! That's not just wrong...its dangerous!
This is why the growery exists, so that asinine misinformation can't be spread.

Identifying a seed from its appearance is pretty much retarded...There are some things you can do to identify "healthy" or whatever seeds but aside from that not much more...People who try to sex a plant based on seeds appearance are really retarded...Though I don't study seeds really.

Thats always my first reaction to a bitch..I want to slap one but I don't want to go to prison. I might slap one, kill her, throw her away, and then post the video on the growery because they will never know who it is slapping the shit out of some random chick.

I think that website is there for one purpose. To give misinformation so that anyone following his techniques will never do it again. First i would probably get frustrated because the plants aren't turning out like the site said they should. Then to think that curing it in a damp spot in a box that's 130 degree's or bury it to try and achieve a nice mold coating to increase the potency. First time i smoked a bud with mold coating would probably be my last also. That site need to be taken down!
