 Angles of Mylar reflection

Say someone was building a reflective cabinet lined with Mylar.
Would there be an ideal angle for the walls to get maximum reflection onto the plants?

Would 90 degree angles be the best you think?
Or would an trapezoid like shape be better?

IMO, reflection should be fixed in a way to get it to reflect light onto the bottom of the leaves. Since you lights will be pointed downward onto the plant. You need to get the reflection to go into the plant and light up the underside of the plant.

I avoid a mirrored floor to limit the amount of light that gets to my plant's roots which can be detrimental. As for the angle of the wall, like magash said, they only true way to tell is to get a light meter and try it out, but my guess would be for a parabolically curved wall with the light at the focal point. A parabola will spread the light most effectively to the outer edges of the grow space.

Paint em or wrap em in foil. Having the surface on the floor helped More then I thought it would.

i agree. the light is coming straight down. any that reaches the ground is wasted. mylar will get it bouncing back up for another pass through the foliage.
obviously this would have a greater effect earlier on in a grow where plants aren't as large, and there is more light hitting the floor.
