yea when the election was going on i named my wireless network "McCain Owns Barrak Osama 2008" cause i noticed one of my neighbors had one called "Vote Obama 2008" there are about 20 visible wireless networks at my house cause shit is so dense, so i like to have fun with it

i used to crack WEP a couple years ago when residential WIFI was hot new shit, but nowadays WPA2 is pretty solid, not just any script kiddie can crack it

nha but the issue today is most people own a crap linksys and dont know how to configure it. so they most likely never changed the default login\password
+ linksys web interface is the same for all linksys. you crack on you crak them all

hah i dont even need to crack shit, got wireless myself, and someone's got an open linksys still even named linksys within good range in case my shit conks out.
and yeah i was being a tripper, it just happened to be when i was browsing icmag and internet was running suuuuper slow, go to look at connections and saw that, freaked out.

ya its basically as you described. im not sure what an aircrack is TBH so i couldnt say if it had that. no, not just point and click. but if you watch the youtube tutorial on it while your doing it it doesn't seem very hard at all.
but no i have not done it. something with my computers graphics wont let linux run. ya i know, it sounds weird. but ive tried several different distros and it always fucks up when it gets to the graphics part. a lot of the time i can get to a command line but none of the graphics load. weird shit like that happens. ubuntu just gives me an error message and restarts.
