Resize my Linux Partition? Got dual boot going on with Ubuntu and Vista

First of all, Linux is pretty k3y. However, I can't use the Linux partition through Windows, but I can use the Windows partition through Linux.
So I figure, if I have to shrink one, it's going to be the Linux one. I need more space for movies.
So, how exactly do I do this without corrupting my Linux OS?
The Linux OS is on a partition of about 80gb, and I want to resize it to about 30gb. Which will leave room for the current OS and files, as well as some extra.

Depends on which filesystem you're using (run 'mount' at commandline to find out) and your partition layout ('fdisk' I think will tell you this). Some of them don't support shrinking/growing, and even then, trying to fuck around with your partition table like that is usually asking for trouble.

d00ds, I'm hearing about a program GPart, so I'm going with that.
Their sourceforge DL links were down last night, but hope they work today or I can find it elsewhere.
