Yah, it's just a possession charge. Poss. of a Controlled, Dangerous, Substance. It was a quick lesson in how fucked up the laws are in my state, the one 30 mg oxy i got busted with was enough to put me away for a minimum of three years with a max fine of 10 g's. Lucky enough for me my credit was good enough to get a loan for a good lawyer. The week before my sentencing the judge put away a kid for 4 years 3 months for the same charge. One fucking pill landed that kind in county for four goddamn years.
Fucked up.

yah, it's different everywhere. If i had known how fucking stiff they were going to be about one pill i would have kept my mouth shut. Where i grew up, if they caught you with one pill, they'd laugh at you and make you grind it into the ground with your foot.
Now im all about my fourth amendment rights, cops don't need to know anything except my ID and my papers for the car. I was so used to dealing with philly cops i didn't think it would be any different down here.
