Omni, definitely worth it.
andyistic - Total Recall was a Piers Anthony book, I watched the movie as a kid then randomly saw the book in the library - it's bloody WORD FOR WORD. Trips me out. You can sit down with the book and go through it with the movie.

That is rare - most movies are far off from the details found inside the book version.

Andromeda Strain was pretty damn close to the book too - right down to the weird little ascii diagrams.
