So I not only got the job, I got a job with the full package etc offered to me, was not expecting that o.o

I just told the hr lady my story and she was like I think I can help you out, let's just skip the temp service bullshit. And then offered me the job. I start next monday :chong:

Oh yeah, and for my resume I spent quite some time gathering all the proper info to put into this supposed free resume then it turns out it wasn't free those sneaky bastards.....well 2 can play that game. When it showed the preview of the document I just resized it on my screen and took screenshots and sent those in as my resume to get the job lol

Lmao yeah dewd I actually used that same "free" resume shit this past week 🤣🤣🤣

I half-assed it and churned some shit out in like 5 minutes, and when I got to the end they charged me $3 bucks lol

I couldn't screenshot mine though. I had to attach it and send it.

I think they usually have free resume templates online that will work for most word processors like LibreOffice Writer (Link to How_To import MS Word templates into LibreOffice Writer). Once you fill it all in, you can export to pdf for uploading.

I use LibreOffice on all of my linux machines, and only because MS office came on my only windows laptop, otherwise it would have LibreOffice too. :shrug:

I currently don't have a desktop either. I have my main windows laptop that I run all of my astrophotography software on, several older shitty laptops that I run Linux Mint on, that I use for coding and little data-gathering projects, and a couple of headless multi-gpu rigs that I use for folding@home and a little cryptomining to help pay for my various hobbies.
