Growing in coco coir - what should i add?

Hello guys.
Im about to start a grow in coco coir and started to read everthing about it i could find, and the more i read the more confused i got. Especially when i read that calcium and magnesium should be added.
I have the BioBizz series (biogrow, biobloom, topmax, root juice) avaliable. Will this cover my needs?
I'll be adding perlite to the coir mix and thats about it so far.
Besides that i'll be starting out in 1 gallon fabric pots and later on transplanting to 15 gallon fabric pots. I do not have an RO filter, i'll be using ph'd tap water.
Any addings or maybe some threads on here that i've missed?
Thanks in advance!

I added verm to mine. But perlite and coir is fine.
Can't comment on biobizz as I never used them.
Pick up a ppm meter. You will need it with hydro. And yes coir is considered hydro.

Thanks Dead.
What about det Ca and Mg? I can't seem to find sources for that. But i guess when i use tap water the Ca content would be fine.

As far as i can tell all soil less mediums are considered hydro yes.

I'm using coir/perlite mix I'm doing the Lucas formula with maxi bloom . I use Epsom salt for magnesium an calcium hydroxide solution for raising the pH . My tap water is 230 ppm , if your water is hard you may not need calcium.
I'm not familiar with that nutrient line so I really can't comment on it. A pH and ppm meter are definitely important with soilless mixes. There are other sources of calcium that may work better but my nutrients always mix up on the acidic side so it serves double duty for me. There is a lot of different nutrient lines out these days , an it can be difficult to decide which one to go with. I ended up using the Lucas formula cause of how simple it is to use . It all boils down to what works best for your environment. good luck

Okay nice Funky. I'll be looking at some epsom salt for that Mg then. I have a lot of CaCO3, do you know if i could use that instead of the COH4?
The EC/pH/temp 'meter' is on its way. That's covered.

Calcium hydroxide doesn't add much calcium to solution compared to calcium chloride. Calcium chloride would be better for adding high amounts of soluble calcium without affecting pH as much as the hydroxide would. I'm pretty new to grow so my knowledge is still limited on the subject.

Sorry i ment CaOH2 obviously not COH4 my bad. CaCO3 is calcium carbonate though, not calcium chloride.
As long as i use tap water i guess it doesn't need that much calcium in the mix anyway.
