I'm about to start my first build. Sorta going balls to the wall but why fuck around?

Look at pcpartpicker.com they have builds up or you can sign up and asks questions, its a forum. I plan on building a computer but don't know much, I will just use one of the builds someone else made.

I built the one my chick uses now. It was a few years ago, but it was def a blast. Cheaper too.
Only suggestion i have is double check your parts to make sure you wont have any compatibility issues.
Also, if you are able to, dont cheap out. You get what you pay for. Do your research on each part too.

I've built a few machines before. As long as compatibility is verified, and you make sure that everything you have will fit in your case, then the build is pretty simple.
Do you have any specific concerns? I will go ahead and admit that I'm not very well versed in the software realm, i prefer messing around with the hardware.

I've been researching like mad for days and smoothed out a lot of wrinkles in my plan.
My main concern now is choosing watercooling parts and ensuring the cooling system will all fit.
I'm going with a pretty tight case (I want it easily portable, and also really dig the look):

 Looks like fun. I haven't built anything serious in a couple years. At the time I was working on my A+ Certification and was building and dissecting PCs regularly both as a side business and for a college. I personally prefer toying with the software side of things (I'm a Linux guy), but I enjoy the entire build process from start to finish. I'm glad you guys work on your own stuff.

building a p.c. is awesome i bought a 700 dollar laptop and the wifi sucks thankfully it has a phone jack port on the side but yeah total bullshit otherwise
i've probably logged in thousands of hours on my pc over the course of two years I don't even fuck with cable t.v. or games

tv sucks, you can watch most of the shit on cable online. Video games are a must tho.

all the games i have on ps4 are exclusive so that's like 5 games and then i have two halo games and a few multiplayer games for xbox, everything looks better on p.c. and Im' not talking about resolution i can actually play a p.c. game for hours and hours with out feeling disoriented or tired
