Managed to get one of these guys, he was labelled with conflicting names like "ariocarpus LW variegated caes." and "Lophophora Diffusa". Do you guys know how to tell the difference?
Either way, I love having a loph in the house!

they label em like that because its peyote sales is banned on ebay. I know the seller you are talking about.
Nice LW dude. Give em some real sun if possible (they trive on real sunlight)

dont water it after you put it back into soil (for at least a week). You can risk root rot if you water it too soon i think.

Awesome, glad to hear that it's legit.
And yea, I'll wait to water for a week or two and put it into some partial sun soon.
Hopefully it is a caespitosa and start puppies like crazy.

Ya partial at first for sure.... dont wanna burn the lil fella.
Were you worried about custom seizing it? what did he label it? I get alot of cacti from spain, amd they guy labels em "toy figures". ive never had an issue tho
I once won this huge mutant penis cactus from poland. It was sent it soil and labeled "live specimen" and no issue. Ive heard of customs being nazi's about importing cacti but so far ive had no issues.

I was pretty worried, but apparently no issues.
The packaging and phyto-cleanliness paperwork listed it as L. diffusa.
If customs isn't too much of a problem, then I'd love to start collecting rare mutations and varieties.
