6 in Can fan

Hey guys. I am getting my tax returns soon and I have set aside alittle money to upgrade a few things in my garden. The main thing is my ventech 6in inline fan. Thing runs on a fan speed controller and ran for about a year non-stop, but at about 10 months in, it started making a horrible loud mechanic sound. Its loud as fuck, but still runs. I am wanting to put this one in the "just in case" storage and buy a new fan.
My question is, what fans are good price but also great quality. I just want the thing to work well and safe and also be quiet and able to be controlled by a speed controller without messing up the motor.
Anyone have any suggestions? Or can point me in the right direction?

Whats has been the outcome of this post, did you get a replacement..? or did you give yourself a much needed upgrade, as in most situation the fans can be underpowered, more so with a speed controller fixed, and or used in damp winter type conditions, ...avoid using during times of high humidity.. good luck

Went with Can Fan Max 6 in with a controller on it. Been awhile and so far so good.
