Hps flickering?

About once per minute my hps does a noticeable flicker. Not cutting all the way off, but a definite flicker. The light turns on and turns off with no problems but I noticed this flicker.
Really no more frequent than minutely.
-------------------- Of course it's happening inside your head.
Why should that mean it isn't real?

Most likely the bulb or ballast is about to go out. In my experience it's usually the bulb, but I've seen both go the same way. Bulbs are just more commonly the problem.
Be sure to check all plugs and connections of course.

Yeah I saw my timer was falling out of the outlet the other day and figured that was the issue, but it's plugged back in firmly now.
I sure hope it's not the ballast, but I guess it'd be a good excuse to upgrade this big heavy fucker haha.
