needing medicine, "was wondering how many plants, w/o being too crowded, i could fit in a 5x5 area." going to be using truth lightings m16led light w an ebb&flow hydroponics system. i have purchased Purple Kush & Super Silver Haze seeds to 50/50 in the 5x5 area

I would keep em short if possible. You would not gain much if any in yield by taking the time to veg taller plants with that light. You may need to keep that led high above the canopy to get a good light spread which sacrifices light intensity lower in a deep canopy when using led panels with 3 watt emitters like that one.
>Short veg and 1 per sq foot is how I would do it. Crop and train to keep plants shorter directly beneath the light in the center (Kush) and taller around the edge (Haze).
>You might also consider doing a bowl shaped scrog with 9 plants (3X3) if you don't mind the extra veg time required.

ah thank you much. im thankful for that knowledge. I will arrange in that manner and top n train small vegged plants. once the ebb & flows set up under light and plants are pre-sexxed ill start shooting pics

I have ran a 1k watt HPS in a 5x5 tent and I would run 10-12 plants in 7gal bags and averaged around 1-1.5oz per plant per run. However I dont have much experience with LED lights and have heard mixed reviews. I would go HPS if all possible and you definitely wont regret the investment, thats for sure.
