This isn't the NA room. Take your shit elsewhere
-------------------- Alcoholics Anonymous is a fellowship of men and women who share their experience, strength and hope with each other that they may solve their common problem and help others to recover from alcoholism.
The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop drinking. There are no dues or fees for A.A. membership; we are self-supporting through our own contributions. A.A. is not allied with any sect, denomination, politics, organization or institution; does not wish to engage in any controversy; neither endorses nor opposes any causes. Our primary purpose is to stay sober and help other alcoholics to achieve sobriety.

ur right coaster, it IS bad.
it's weird how there are some dr00gz that are actually bad it seems, yet when trying to define good/bad we all seem to be clueless about it.
it's weird, im not religious by any means, but there are some drugs out there that i would defintely call the devil, or the devils tool.
i mean, sure if somebody can control themselves and do them thangs responsibly, then i guess it could be good depending on certain factors.
i have been having off and on relapses lately, and it sux, cuz i spend all money, and pretty much waste most of my time, time that i could be using wisely, i guess.
although thinking back, i've been having a hard time, been doin' lots of thangs, and kinda have been wanting to not do thangs anymore, but i guess i gotta keep on truckin'
for me, my problem probably spawns from doin' alcohol, cuz i end up doin' too much, and doin' crazy thangs. but i dont know.
ive been noticing that there really is a 'thang' that we humans tend to have, which is our ethical scale
or some will call it our conscience, our angel on one side and our devil on the other.
the devilish choices that are laid out for us, are always going to be the most seductive, and have the most ill consequences.
but i sometimes feel myself, having a lot of trouble to make the right choices, i make a lot of bad choices, and it just lol..
regardless, there is one thang i really like, and it comes from the i' chang
(which i have found to be extremely helpful, in a spiritual aspect, and it has helped me stay away from the dr00gz that are addictive)
here is an excerpt from hexagram #38
K'uei
Opposition.
''misunderstanding truth creates opposition''
" The simple truth is that every moment in every person's life contains the teaching he or she most needs at that time. It is not always immediately apparent why a thing is happening, because the Sage is often inclined to work in a roundabout fashion. Nonetheless, whatever is happening NOW is what MUST happen. Our only task is to trust the process and allow the lesson to seep in. "
so regardless if we make good or bad choices, we make the choices that are necessary for our own personal selves.
that at least keeps me even if i have been doin' thangs.
because of the necessity in growing.
Some people need to take the 12 step program, personally, I have been there and back again, and then left again, and really find it to be a load of bull shit.
but that is me personally, i have a few friends that have been getting clean and have been abiding by the 12-step program.
Sometimes it's necessary,
it is necessary for my friends,
it was once necessary for me, although it isn't right NOW.
but regardless, some people need that guidance, and others dont.
"1st step of AA is you have to admit that you are powerless over alcohol to beat an alcohol addiction. .......................... You have to admit.. Your not powerless, you have the power to admit or not, that is the thang."
A person that ends up following a step-by-step program to better themselves isn't any more or less better than a person that is taking their own unique path..
basically...
PS: im crashing from an 8ball of yayo, that i mistakenly did cuz i got drunk earlier, so now im drankin' a bunch of whiskey just so i don't too much... so i might not be puttin all the words i intend to put together, coherently enough.
o well
but ya, overall, i would say there are some drugs that may
but ultimately the consequences of doin' them thangs are and that outweighs the by A LOT.
Heres a song tha thas done a lot of 'thangs' for me
it has helped me get through rough times,
FILLING EMPTY HOLES:
"Is it not bloods nature, but the flow.. so here we go..."
The song may sound ill and a depressing, but I somehow find myself going back to it at depressing times, and it actually seems to pull me out of my depressing state..
Either way, u may have ur own 'thangs' that do 'thangs'
and my way of thangs help me, and urs may be different, but regardless i feel like i should share thangs that have helped me..
i thank we can both agree on how difficult it is to keep our word on thangs.
like we can easily say "no im not doin' those thangs again, cuz they are " yet we do those thangs for the feelsgoodman that ends up being feelsbadman, only because we wanted that instant gratification..
that instantaneous
**** heres a thang****** (yeah im prolly going off on a tangent, but if you are still reading... then )
(I have a choice in the matter, whether I want to wake up the next day, looking forawrd to the infinite possibilities that are contained within my waking state, or I have a choice in waking up, and the best I could get out of my day, would be the opiate high..
Well it seems that the infinite possiblities are a much better choice, but sometimes i find myself disregarding tha tnotion on behalf of the instant gratifcation that the harder dr00gz allow me to feel.
You can either choose your gratification "NOW"
or you can sacrifice your doin's for the possibility of a better, longer lasting gratification that awaits within the future..
which is infinitely more good than than whatever 'good' you can get out of opiates
IMO

I've never done heroin, but have used most other opiates recreationally with no problems. I don't really have any advice to give besides don't do it often. Some people know their limits and others can't be responsible users....... which I feel is a complete oxymoron when it comes to opiate abusers. . bummer see.

Too funny to be dead, just like Belushi, Farley and the rest. Opiates even feel good and makes you want more WHILE you're puking, you know that's fucking evil. Once you get that first memorably strong opiate high, trouble's coming. I'm glad I live on the other side of the country from everyone that sold me opiates. I had a good run but the fun is over. Here's a tip for everyone, move to a town where you have no connections.

LSD
I was at a ratdog show about 5 years ago and was having WD's so my buddy gave me 5 hits of L on some cinnamon altoids. It was great until I came down, so it does work great but trying to dose over and over again to get rid of WD's is hard.
You would have to eat a ton of acid, I actually felt worse when I came down and went to get a couple of 50's of dope, did the biggest shot in my life.
Thank God I am no longer addicted.

Well, it needs to be done right. not in a concert or recreational experience type environment. Should also have a couple of therapists with you, unfortunately that's not really an option. So that really limits LSD's ability to help people. I'm sure if you have some friends that really are experienced with psychedelics and psychotherapy they could help you out. Actually, I think i'd recommend ibogaine over lsd to resolve an opiate addiction.
it definitely works....
