I'm in the middle of trying to quit again. Haven't bought a pack in over a month. Probably only had 5-10 since then. Cravings are a bitch when I drink though. Lifelong battle not to smoke for sure. A friend's dad said he had to change his route to work when he quit. The routine he had been in for years included smoking he changed it all up.

LOL, that is SO standard its not even funny. weed then cig, weed then cig, its like it was meant to be. Oh ya my point, Umm so the people I know who quit recently used those E-cigs. Ive used one and its really not that bad. you get your oral fixation and nicotine. you can smoke it anywhere, and then you just slowly step down the amount of nicotine you use, because they have like 4 levels of Nicotine. including one that has 0 nicotine. so you could just taper down to that and then quit. Im so high right now omg.

I was a smoker for 4 years (Marlboro red 100's/Marlboro 27's), quit for over a year... Now been smoking again for about 6 months (Camel Menthol Silvers). About a pack a day, if I get drunk it becomes a pack and a half.
Now I'm sick with a sore throat and I can't stop smoking so I'll prolly stay sick for an extra week longer than a normal person would..
FML
I want to cut back substantially on both.

Dude, the best thing I could say (at least in regard to cigarettes) would be to pick one time that you smoke cigarettes, such as after a bowl, when you get in the car, anything that's a common thing you do that you associate with a cigarette, and stop smoking during that one instance.
My wife and I, we started with not smoking in the car. That in and of itself helped substantially! Then it was the after a meal smoke, and so on... The goal here is to make it inconvenient for yourself to smoke. Also, make yourself go OUTSIDE! That right there will cut your smoking down a lot!

because i can safely say if i didnt have drugs i would be in jail or either in the mental hospital.............they have several around here, well with all the meth heads and all
