First time closet stealth grow, advice wanted (pics)

Hey all and welcome to my first grow and my first stealth grow. I have never grown before and would very much appreciate the advice of seasoned growers.
This is a picture of the corner closet i intend to grow in.
Here are the measurements again in centimetres, inches and feet, so everyone’s happy! height: 130cm / 50 inches / 4ft 2.5 width: 73cm / 30 inches / 2ft 6.5 depth: 48.5cm / 20 inches / 1ft 8.5
My flatmates can’t find out about this so my main priority is stealth. My current plan is to remove the shelves and just grow 2 auto flowering plants in there. My first question is how do i make sure it’s airtight and lightproof? My next question is what light shall i use? Because it’s a stealth operation I want there to be as little heat and electricity use as possible. I don’t mind buying something expensive that will last a long time and is really efficient, so I was thinking of going LED, is that a good idea? If so, what size would work best for my space?
Also it’s important that the closet produces as little smell as possible. I need to find a good quality fan and carbon filter setup that’s quiet but efficient. I am going to put a fish tank on top of the cabinet to cover the sound of the fan.
Seeing as I have never done this before there may be gaps in my research so I would really appreciate any advise on things I might have missed out or not considered. As I said stealth is my number one priority but I also want to buy good quality equipment that will last.
Thoughts?

You could do better than 2 autos.
Personally, Id take out that bottom corner piece of wood and the first shelf. Leave in the second shelf and take out the third shelf.
Veg on the bottom, flower on top.
This would allow you to operate a perpetual cycle instead of having to grow from seed everytime.
I'm thinking you're going to have to use a passive intake and use the inline fan + carbon filter combo as the exhaust.
T5 on the bottom HPS on the top

Yeah, it is a good idea but not original to me. I have to give Magash credit on this one. He had a closet design similar to this where he'd also have a separate space just for cloning on the bottom.
@OP - Got any more thoughts? I'd love to hear more about your plan

Here is a set up I made years ago.

Would you mind posting that closet diagram again but a little larger? I tried to save it last time and it is very blurry.

Thanks for the advice guys, it's really helpful but I have decided just to put a very small tent in the space, only 40x40x120.
I know that's only going to hold one plant but I realised I am very new to all this and seeing as stealth is my priority I want to make the first time as careful as possible. Plus I realised I'd have nowhere to store all my equipment except in that same cabinet! So maybe next grow I will upgrade, depending on what happens this time.
So what kind of light would work best in this tiny tent, keeping heat and costs down, a couple of cfl's?
And which autoflowers would be good for the space?

Just curious, why no autoflower? I have auto northern lights germinating now, but also have a cpl other photos ready to go. I'm probably going with a 36"*20"*62" grow tent, with a six bulb 2' t5 light fixture. Using soil. Also a first time grower. Did I mess up already in my plans?

No, it doesn't sound like you've messed them up. Auto flowers generally grow slow and have less than average yields. If you have the option to control hours of light, I'd go with photo strains.

As you can see I have assembled the 40x40x120 tent in the cabinet instead. I can put the fan and carbon filter outside of the tent to save space so only the light needs to be in there.
So I need to decide on a fan, I want a good quality one that's really quiet, would this be good enough?:
The S&P TD-160/100 N SILENT fan
Here are the specs: S&P TD-160/100 N SILENT 2500/2200 RPM (2 stages) Effect: 20/12 W Soundlevel: 24/21 dB(A) Max airflow: 180/140 m3/h Max temp: 40C Length: 210mm
I think I can live with 24 dB in my closet, if that's right it's really really quiet! Or would that be overkill? Also once you have the right fan do you need to match it with the right carbon filiter or are they all pretty similar?
Now onto lighting! I want to get an LED because it produces the least amount of heat and electricity, I know a lot of people say they are overpriced but for me, taking care of heat and electricity are more important right now and my motto is "If you buy quality you only cry once". So what would the optimal amount of led watts be for that size?
Thanks!

That fan is a booster fan and I have read that boosters don't work too well with carbon filters. Whether you'd like to order one and try it is your prerogative. Inline fans are way louder(you should insulate the fuck out of this cab around the tent with the remaining space that is there) but they are a proven proven winner. They will also help to keep the temperature stable. And with the inline fan pulling through room temperature air, you're going to be fine temperature wise if you decide to buy an LED.
The LED expert here is phychotron. However, for a 3 by 3 area, leaving space on the side, I think that you couldn't go wrong with this. http://advancedledlights.com/3w-led-grow-lights/xte-series-led-grow-light-usa-made-5w-leds/ Average power draw is 185W. The company came highly recommended from him. However, $1200 for the light he recommended me was simply out my price range and I decided to go with a $140 400w hps.

And no you don't have to buy a "matching" carbon filter. The flanges of the carbon filter just have to be a compatible size with the fan. So if you buy a 4" inline fan, get a 4" carbon filter.

There's not too much aroma until they go into flower though, right? . . .

From what I can currently smell from my few small plants in veg and from the outdoors plant I had, there is no smell in veg maybe a general "plant" smell but the "skunk" doesn't really come through until flower.

So what kind of fan would be more appropriate for me if that one might not fit around a carbon filiter? I know you linked one but what kind of thing should i be looking for, for my tiny tent inside a cabinet?
Thanks for all the advice though, i am learning a lot!

Really you're not going to find a smaller fan than the one I linked. A 4" is the smallest you can get to my knowledge and you need an inline for it to work with a carbon filter.
