 Outdoor problem

So i just checked on my outdoor crop....
HOT DIGGITY DAMN!!!!! I GOT SEXY BUDS.... they smell sooooooo good.
They need another week or 2 tho.
Problem:
This week we got a northern wind comming down (suppose to be -2 tonight!!!). so for the next night or 2 its supose to frost, after that its supose the be like +1 or +2 at night (could turn into a frost tho)
Can i put clear garbage bags over the plants today and leave them on for a weekish. i really cant go to this location daily to put them on and off daily because i gotta drive past a farmers house and i dont want him to see me going there daily!
So will it hurt the plants to leave clear garbage bags over them for a week or so.... its kinda like a mini green house.
My buddy told me to harvest them today.... but they REALLY need another week at least

or will a couple nights or minus weather even kill em?
if they will be fine with a night or 2 of frost ill just leave em alone.

Well it's not just that the frost will kill them (it will) but also if you put a bag on them for days at a time and you have nice buds you're gonna come back to nice mold and rot cause of the humidity the bag will cause. I'd harvest.

Po if you leave that bag on there all the time for a week, I think they will cook?
They will be find to harvest after a frost. But I think it dies tho :wellidunno

looks like tonight is the only frost night this week... so maybe ill just cover for a day and harvest in aweek

If tonight is the only frost night go for it but be careful. Smoke killed by frost or cold taste like hay. I completely forgot about some outdoor thai plants and found them with the quadcopter when I was fucking around. Decided what the hell give it a try (this shit was heavily snowed on and crap) and man I can still taste that nasty crap.

Ive grabbed brown outdoor smoke that tasted like hay before. It was dirt cheap, and i made money off it (lol).... but i wouldn't smoke it.
now i know why it was like that.... thanks

Farmers use smudge pots to keep the harvest just above freezing. Not sure how well they work with cannabis.

ill get some when i go back.... if i can find my iphone (lol)
this is my new plan: im gonna harvest the two plants that have orange hairs.... and cover the other 4 (they still have 100% white hairs) in bags for 2 days....
this way no matter WHAT ill have some (premature) smoke.
its too bad i couldnt cut them all down.... put them in a a tub of water under my 600w and finish em up indoors
