Okay yet another question. This is my first grow and am just getting everything in order. My basement it sittin around 62-65 degrees is that to cold? I am using a 3x3x4 box with a 400watt MH for veg and HPS for flower. I have no doubt that during the lighting periods that the grow box will be warm enough. Should my fans be on with the lights are off if the ambient temp is around 60-65 deg. I have a blower set up to push air through the box and out a carbon filter also have several small fans to circulate air towards the plants. Thanks a bunch all of you have been so cool to the old noob.

It's usually best to keep the ventilation running all the time. This helps keep the RH down, and will help in preventing a host of problems. 60-65 isn't horribly low, and shouldn't affect the plants much.

With the RH low especially during the heating season (winter) and the fans running 24/7 how will that affect my watering. I plan to have a water meter in each of my pots and I guess I'll just have to keep an eye to keep the ladies from drying out.

It could. Seeing as this is your first grow, I wouldn't rely on those meters. Well hell, I wouldn't rely on em either. The best way to know when to water is picking up the pots when they are watered. Then picking them up every other day. Once they are light, time to water. You'll get a feel for it after a few times.
