After looking around I realize it could help with the inside airflow in combo with scrubber, any thoughts ? Thanks

Well you have to actively push the air through the carbon for it to work.
I scrub the air in my room by just having the filter and fan scrubbing the air in the room itself, but not venting it. Works great.

I personally use the pulling of the air through the carbon filter VIA the exhaust line, then again my cabinet is only personal sized. 4 X 2 1/2 X 2 1/2. Whatever works for you my friend.

Hanging it will do nothing.
You need to force the air THROUGH the carbon in order for it to filter the air.

I would suggest by "pulling" and not "pushing" of the air, just to make things clear for our fellow grower.

Yeah always pull the air through the carbon. Most carbon filters have a prefilter to filter dust. If the air goes through the carbon first and THEN the fan, your fan stays clean and dust free prolonging its life.
If you push air then you dont make use of the carbons prefilter and your fan gets dusty. Not good.
If you have to push you can and its no big deal, but you need remove the pre filter from the carbon and place it before your fan. Not really reccomended and depending on your set up you might reduce the surface area of the prefilter
