I had a wbs jar of cubes that stayed colonized for about that long. It contaminated later on but was still alive
|

Oh nah man, stones only form with certain species (not cubes).
Open the jar, fill with water, drain in 6 hours, close. If its alive you will see fresh mycilum when it recovers
