So I have these trees growing along the border of my property. And have seen kratom a few times and have thought these kinda look like them. I am pretty sure they are not. But am always looking for cool psychoactive plants in my backyard. Anyways, what do they look like? They are on a tree like structure but real narrow ,skinny trees.

Oh, and here is one of my coleus bushes. About 3 ft tall and pretty purple. This is one of 3 I have. This one just got split in half by the heavy weather we had gotten and is in the healing process.

My backyard looking down and out towards Mayo. Here is a frieghter in the background.
Out back looking towards the pasture which is also in my back yard. It is full of fungus couple times a year.
My now flowerless orchids.
Purple sweet potatoes, that have been a pain in the ass. Vines! They spread everywhere under ground. I have had these in a clear plastic halved soda bottle. Was gonna give them away, but ended up growing them "poor mans hydroponically" for over 2 months. But they just grow!
My spring flower starters. The big ones are all poppy. California and oriental red from germany. The smaller almost invisable plants are delphinium and fox glove.

#1 is a flower of an acacia tree. Some kind of koa I believe. #2 a type of ground cover, not sure what it is but it is all over. #3 dunno, but it growing out back as well. Long camouflaged spears amongst the ground cover.
Cool colorful ground cover plants. Of some sort. Problem is they can harbor mesquitos and coqui frogs.
The acacia tree, koa wanna be. If I only knew the identification of all this stuff , I guarantee there is psychoactives all around me!!!
Same as above with a vine growing up and around.
Looking out back into the pasture. You can see a group of banana trees of differnt varieties.
Mini yellow daisies growing behind the fence of my backyard.
And then one more picture of original post. The tree that borders my yard. I still say it looks alot like kratom. But I have looked for hours for anything saying it grows here. Not to much said about it. If you can help identify it would be helpful.
Anyone with botanical knowledge and can identify anything in the above pictures I would appreciate it.

Yeah, it wasn't by choice. Money and school were the main reasons I had to move back. I've visited since, but hopefully one day I'll be able to live there again

So here is some kind of cactus. Big broad leaves of green and purplish red edges.
Cucumber vines after spring rains and a few battles with powdery mildew.
And then a Oregano variety I am unfamiliar with. Grown locally and given to me by a friend. Strong smell and taste of oregano. It is also recovering from transplanting it.
Not sure, but kind of looks like a small orchid.
One of the many vines we have growing wild. Probably also seen in walmart or kmart.
And thenva picture of tonights weather looking towards Maui!

the reason I ask is that they look a bit over potted. If you've been growing them for awhile, and they are doing fine for you, just ignore my advice. But if they are newer acquisitions then they might do better long term in smaller pots

Thanks for the advice! Orchids are a new hobby for me and don't know alot about them. Most of them came in itty-bitty pots. I read somewhere that if you buy orchids it is best to transplant them into airy pots. Since they say they usually come with moss wrapped around the roots. Which most of them did. These are on the second year since I had gotten them. The black potted ones are new. I didn't have anything smaller and wasn't gonna be able to afford a couple more pots, so I used what I had. I have them in a good orchid soil with more added bark. So far I am getting new roots and new growth. So guess it is ok?

I always try to put my orchids into the smallest pot possible and then only transplant once the medium goes bad, or it starts over growing the pot. Just remember, their Epiphytes so when they grow naturally there isn't much medium around their roots.
PS In your first picture of the orchids, the plant nearest the end in the group shot, with the purplish leaves and large pseudo bulb. Do you know what type of orchid that is?
