Agreed. Animal manure should only make up about 10% by volume of your total soil mix. You need some real soil. Ocean Forest, Happy Frog, or Bio-Bizz Light mix are good bases for a soil mix. The easiest one I tell people is 1 part good potting soil (like those above), 1 part coarse perlite, and 1 part earthworm castings. That'll get you started, and you can use whatever nute mix you'd like, or add soil amendments to the base to create a hotter mix. One such amendment could be 10% by volume of aged/composted manure.

Word, I was not going to just put it in the poo tho, was wondering if like u said just a punch to a mix of verm and peat would be ok for a month till I got some Cash in, would like to go back to bubble bucket or a hempy bucket. But I still need to refind my equip or just get a new pump and stuff, or xtra Cash for coco cocir. Only thing I need to is if those nutes will still be Good or not cos Thats like 50 Jones down the drain. Ya kno.. o and BTW hi guys. Been a while.

GEES Hawk..way to be a downer... So now thw question is, should I just do a coco&(perlite or hydroton rock) or a perlite/verm mix. I have Access to enough coir from my mycology estudies so the big Q now is what brand and what minds of nutes should I get. Cant be bottles over $25ea, might be able to scrounge up $75 in the next week or too but Cash is tight right now due to we are helping her pap and mom cos he had a stroke a year ago and he cant work( I said stick him in wallmart cos he will be telling the people about the productos=shit lol cos he cant say much.) Thanks for the heads up.
Edit. Maybe I could try the nutes on a simple tomato plant huh? Cant hurt to try it on something and if it will b Fine i could still get some use out of them.. I mean were talking 3/4 of a horror still in the grobig and the Tiger bloom. If not o well learned alot about experimentation throuh mycology.

Lost, I'm sure this is long overdue but it's always recommended to try to use known quantities, so just scrounging stuff you can't assess accurately probably isn't the best idea. If that's all I had I'd do my best though. Why not? I mean, people have mild-moderate success just putting the things in un-improved ground .... Personally, though, I don't know why the old cow manure would have "gone bad". It's always good to compost manure though (check this out). When I was a kid we'd haul home trailer-loads of horse and cow manure and compost it for the garden. [that shit gets fire-starting hot but that's another story] Same should be true with dry fertilizer shelf life. These mineral salts aren't going to spontaneously decompose. http://www.lsuagcenter.com/NR/rdonlyres/D3DB4E45-757F-4F93-8870-9B55B6023849/76442/012111Fertilizer.mp3 I'd also like to say I'm having great success with very minimal soil/nutrient investment. Just make sure you don't over or under-do it. This is why you must know your quantities to meter feeding, initial and subsequent. My setup is semi-organic with soil-less organic media (*spent* MG), worm castings, and lime as initial nutrients, followed by a casting top feeding in veg., and now I'm using cheap MG bloom booster 1/2 strength during flowering. Check out my grow!
got it all worked out bro, ill be making a entry about my grow wheni get more then 5 min in fron of this crappy laptop.
