Here is my temp: 64F
My set up with be: 1.33''x 33''x63'' tent 2.with three plants 3. With a 400w MH bulb and reflective hood
Would this raise my temp enough(to like mid 70s)? (I am able to adjust the height of the light)

Uhhh....your tent is 1.3 inches by 33 inches by 63 inches? Do you mean feet?
Would what raised your temp? The light?
Of course you can adjust the height of your light. You just need to construct whatever you hang it up with to be adjustable, and have enough extra ventilation tubing to work with.

um, i'm pretty sure that 1.33" is item #1, 33"
a sealed area will naturally rise in temperature when the lights are on. Your going to need ventilation of some sort, or be able to open the door to the tent every day (and probably a fan too). That's a little cool for night time, but fine really. Thats what my house temperature is at.

It'll get it a lot hotter than that if you don't have ventilation. There are too many variables, you'll just have to find out.

Thank you for all the advice....Hawk, that would be one small tent ()
Just heard that lights throw out some heat, and thought that it may compensate for the colder temps in my basement

As has been said, yes the temps in your tent will be substantially higher than ambient room temp. Get your tent set up, turn your light on and let it run for a day. Then check the temp and you'll know what you're up against. Good luck!

I have the same size tent and you and I have the 400 watt Solar storm by californialightworks and I can say with no cooling system in place my temps range from 75-80 degrees far at all times. I have a temp gauge that tell me the highs and lows for the last week. I do have a scrubber pulling air out but thats it!!!
