Homebox S Grow Tent Tech Questions

I've got all the supplies I need and am in the process of constructing my grow tent grow. I have my charcoal filtered general exhaust system set up, but I'm not sure how to proceed with air-cooling my light.
I have a 6" air cooled reflector with plenty of 6" ducting and either 1 or 2 6" inlet/outlet vents. There is no room for the second air vent fan in the grow tent.
Can I set the 6" air-cool exhaust fan out side of the tent and suck or blow the fresh air though the air-cooled reflector? Should I suck or blow the air through the lamp? Do I need a vent going into the light and one going out or can I leave one reflector vent open and just suck air though there?
I'm tripping lightly on morning glory seeds so I'm sorry if none of this made sense. Thank you for trying to make sense of it, if possible.

Well, it really depends. Ideally you want one fan to push air over your light and another fan to move the hot air out of your room. However, if you have a strong enough fan you can use one fan to pull air out and push it over your light.
^^ideal setup
^^ how i run my own setup

I have 2 exhaust fans, my main exhaust fan is already set up. The question I have is should i push or pull the air past my light with the second exhaust fan? Can the second exhaust fan be located outside of the tent? Sorry, thanks.

THANK YOU. Simple answer to what I thought was a simple question.
So I can't just put only one duct on the reflector with a fan attached pulling the air through the other open hole of the ventilator. Or do I absolutely have to have ducts attached to each side going in and out. Am I making sense here?
Edit: SHIT! Does that mean I can put my main exhaust fan outside of the tent too? That would save a shitload of room in the tent.

like that? Sure, you can do that. It's less efficient when you have one fan doing both the exhaust of the room, and exhaust of the light, but it's possible. If you're using two fans you'll be just fine, lots of people hook the other end of the light up to the outside air source as well. This brings cooler air over the bulb which helps reduce temps more easily, otherwise you're using the warm air of the grow room to cool the light which is less effective. Either way it will still work.

Sure you can. Now, if you're using a carbon filter it's best to have the fan sit directly on top of it, but it would still work if you ran ducting to the fan from the filter (just slightly less efficient). You can place your fans wherever you want really, sometimes it's just neater/simpler/more stealth to hide them in the grow cab.
