Do like you normally do. When you see the plants switch slowly introduce your flowering nutrients so you don't jump the gun and burn them.
High n during veg and high pk during flowering.
What nutrients do you have on had or have access to?

I have just started my first cycle.
I have six autoflowers and three fems started.
I figure that I will make some clones of the fems once the autos require the light cycle to change for flowering. ...and the clones will mature on a separate, CLF lit, table.
I am going to be using no nutes, then Pro-Blend Veg, and then PB Bloom, all according to the instructions.
I have Liquid Karma and Silca Blast as well, but have yet to decide how they will fit into the mix.
Good luck,
JD

start off with 1/4 strength nutes...if it says 5ml/gal use 1 ml/ gal and so on. If you start off using recommended amounts you will burn the tits right off your autos. You can always up the amount if they respond well to them. Also, did you get calibration solution and storage solution with your ph meter? If not your ph tester will be no good very soon...I bought one of those and it came with nothing, no instructions...so i didnt know, and that ruined it. Just a heads up.

I am thinking that at least a couple of weeks of plain water after they initially pop up will be necessary.
How long did you wait before starting the nutes?
Good luck,

Signs....of showing their sex?
What is "Veg" time if not before that?
Sorry. I am new.

Yeah when you see their sex, feed em. Give them at least one feeding of grow nutes as their veg/flower cycles coincide for a few weeks, and they could end up with N defficiency if not fed at least one shot of veg nutes.
I have 6 autos on day 43, about 3-4 weeks to go. Autoflowers are interesting to say the least.

Two things:
1. How does this vary for "femmed" seeds? I am thinking that they will have a more traditional, longer, grow cycle.
2. Any comments on when one can begin to apply Liquid Karma or Silica Blast to the watering of both autos and femms?
Thanks!

fem seeds just mean theyre females...the proper terms instead of "fems and autos" would be photoperiod strains and auto strains.
I personally dont give them anything but water until 3 weeks. Photoperiod or auto.

Whoa. If I had held off on nutes for 3 weeks my plants would be dead for sure. IME: I am using pg grow/liquid karma/CaMg+ with RO water. I had a couple of seed leaves go yellow-tipped on me when only the 2nd true leaf set was pokin' out, maybe 10 days after crackout. First dose went on them then, 1/4 strength. They ate it up...within the next 10 days worked up to full strength. Now they are eating a double dose of CaMg+ with 20mL grow/4L and 15mL karma. Either my nutes were diluted or what but I say hit them with the organics. They can take it.

Depends on your strain man. Some can take a whole lot more nutes than others.

I've switched to floranova for everything. much easier than mixing a 3 part. I use a bit of floralicious plus too. since I've switched I haven't had any burns or deficiencies. I'm sold.

I got tired of how thick the flora nova is. I prefer their flora duo line, same deal its a two part nutrient but you can use the same bottles for flower and veg and it's a straight liquid so I can measure using my syringe. Regardless, the nova line worked well for me when I used it.

This stuff has been a wonder to work with. Granted I haven't been able to grow the last several months, but still for 2 years solid I used it. Produced beautiful buds.
This was my first plant prior to harvest that I ever grew with it. And this particular seed came out of mexican shit-weed....I kind of got them mixed up but I'm almost positive it was anyway.
